Lili was born and raised on Hawaiʻi Island and graduated from Kamehameha Schools Kapālama before continuing her college education. She joined Work Now Hawaii in late September 2025 and feels fortunate to be part of a team that shares her passion for serving the community and providing incredible work opportunities for individuals. 

Lili has always been dedicated to community service and creating meaningful connections with others. She states, “Being part of an organization like Work Now Hawaiʻi was exactly what I was looking for, and it came into my life at the right time. I am so grateful to be part of a team that is committed to making a positive impact throughout our communities across Oʻahu.” 

Lili originally started as the Office Coordinator, where she supported daily administrative operations and helped create an organized and welcoming environment for both staff and program participants. Since then, she has advanced to her current role as Billing Manager, where she oversees billing processes, supports operational efficiency, assists in payroll processing, and onboards new hires, all while continuing to contribute to Work Now Hawaii’s mission of serving the community. 

Her experience at Work Now Hawaii has allowed her to grow both professionally and personally while engaging in meaningful work. In the next 5 to 10 years, Lili hopes to see Work Now Hawaii continue growing as an organization that expands opportunities, inclusion, and support for individuals with disabilities across our communities. She also envisions improvements in internal systems and operations, allowing the team to work more efficiently and sustainably as they expand. Most importantly, she hopes the organization will continue to foster a culture of compassion, empowerment, and respect, where both employees and participants feel valued and supported. 

Lili’s time at Work Now Hawaiʻi has significantly impacted her life, contributing to both her personal and professional growth. It has provided her with opportunities to develop new skills, take on increasing responsibilities, and gain a deeper understanding of organizational operations and financial processes during her transition within the organization. Beyond professional development, her experience with Work Now Hawaii has been especially fulfilling because of the organization’s mission. Being part of the team has reinforced the importance of compassion, patience, and teamwork in creating meaningful change. 

Lili expresses, “Throughout my time at WNH, I feel that every opportunity I have to work directly with our Program Participants, Staff, family members, etc. is meaningful to me. It serves as a reminder that we are here to serve and be part of the mission that Bob started so many years ago. It has been an honor to work with our team at WNH, and I look forward to the many more opportunities we will have to work together in the future!”
