Eric embarked on his journey with Work Now Hawaii in December 2024, bringing with him a wealth of experience from running his own business and his previous work with another organization. During a search for new opportunities, he discovered Work Now Hawaii and was immediately drawn to its mission. After his initial interview, Eric felt a genuine excitement to learn more and see how his skills could contribute to the organization’s impactful work.

With a deep passion for helping others seize opportunities and realize their full potential, Eric began his role as a manager overseeing a portion of Employment Services. His responsibilities quickly evolved, allowing him to engage more deeply with our dedicated staff and leadership, and gaining a comprehensive understanding of everything from our AB1 contracts to our community partnerships. This overall perspective has significantly enhanced his ability to serve our participants effectively.

Eric’s role now encompasses valuable insights into the administrative aspects of his department, along with the creation and implementation of outreach programs, including events, gatherings, and trainings. He is truly optimistic about the future of Work Now Hawaii and envisions expanding our services statewide to connect with all counties in Hawaii, ultimately creating even more opportunities for those we serve.

His time here has been transformative, teaching him the importance of being present and cultivating gratitude. One of Eric’s favorite aspects of his job is the weekly collaborative brainstorming sessions, where the team comes together to spark new ideas and drive forward our mission.

He offers this advice to anyone seeking their path: “Find something that works for you. If it doesn’t, go find something else.” Eric also wants to express heartfelt gratitude to his incredible team and all the organizations he has previously been a part of, acknowledging that the lessons he has learned along the way have shaped him into the person he is today.

With his driven and thoughtful approach, Eric is excited about the future and looks forward to continuing to grow alongside Work Now Hawaii while making a lasting impact in the community.
